Frequently asked questions

We believe in doing things right the first time. Here are answers to common questions about our physical storefront, picking up orders, and product guidance.

How does in-store pickup work?

When you place an order online or by phone, our team pulls your fixtures directly from our Santa Barbara showroom warehouse. Simply come by our store during normal business hours, bring your order confirmation, and our staff will have your fixtures ready for inspection and pickup.

What kind of advice can I get when picking up my order?

Unlike big-box retail stores or online giants, plumbing is our lifelong career, not a part-time job. When you visit our counter, our family team can walk you through installation requirements, match rough-in plumbing, and ensure you have every adapter and valve needed to complete your job without an extra trip.

Can I see finishes and styles in person before buying?

Yes. Our Santa Barbara brick-and-mortar showroom features a wide display of kitchen faucets, bathroom faucets, shower sets, vanities, toilets, and sinks. You can compare our available finishes in person and consult with our specialists.

Why is there a $35.00 drop ship fee on certain orders?

This fee is a direct pass-through from our manufacturer. While orders shipped directly to our commercial storefront incur standard shipping, our vendor charges an additional $35.00 residential delivery fee for orders redirected straight to a home address. To save on this fee, you can always choose in-store delivery to our shop for in-store pickup.

What is your policy on returns?

We take pride in helping you choose the exact right fixture upfront so returns are not necessary. Because packaging must remain pristine for resale, we work closely with you prior to purchase to confirm measurements and specifications, ensuring your remodel gets done correctly the very first time.

How are product warranties handled?

All of our premium kitchen and bathroom fixtures carry comprehensive manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims and replacement parts are handled directly through the respective manufacturers, ensuring full coverage and authentic factory support.

Do you carry rough plumbing parts as well as faucets?

Yes. We have stocked everything from basic repair parts and rough valves to designer faucets and freestanding tubs since 1954. If your project needs specialized fittings or connectors, we likely have them in stock.

Why is sales tax applied to the Residential Delivery / Drop Ship fee?

State and local tax regulations require us to collect sales tax on the total cost required to fulfill and deliver your order directly to your door. Because the $35.00 Residential Delivery charge is a processing fee required by our manufacturer to redirect commercial inventory to a home address, it is legally classified as part of the taxable transaction total, rather than raw parcel postage.
